We were thrilled to be able to take Ruby home! She almost had to stay at the hospital due to her Bili levels but our Pediatrician ordered lights for us at home. This turned out to be a great blessing - since we were discharged when we did have to go back to the hospital for higher powered Bili lights, we were put in the pediatric unit so I was able to stay with her. If we would have stayed originally, there is a good chance I wouldn't have been able to stay with her (busy hospital... no rooms available in the labor and delivery unit).

Um..you are not supposed to look that great 2 days after having a baby! She is so so tiny! What a doll!
i CLEARLY remember figuring out the carseat in the hospital & then thinking, "what the hell have you gotten ourselves into? i have no clue what i am doing?!".
she is so tiny & beautiful in that little carseat! congrats on a now healthy, happy baby.
