1. I get EXTREMELY excited over things like: 5 consecutive hours of sleep, baby burps, baby poops that happen BEFORE Ruby gets dressed for the day.
2. No more long, relaxing showers... My bedtime routine has been drastically shortened. Who knew I could brush my teeth so fast? And who knew I would accidentally use my body wash as shampoo? (you don't have to answer that)
3. I feel like I have a constant pinched nerve in my back and it's probably only going to get worse.
4. There is a never ending pile of laundry... I can usually get it washed. Putting it away is another thing.
5. I've lost my ability to be on time for 9 am church.
6. When it's 12 am and I'm still trying to get Ruby to sleep sometimes I have conflicting emotions - can't get over how stinkin cute this little girl is and I also want to throw a pillow at Byron's head because I'm actually JEALOUS that he gets to sleep.
7. I'm the last one to eat.
8. I talk about Ruby all. the. time.
9. I've never been so tired in my entire life.
10. I've never been so happy and content in my entire life.
I LOVE this new adventure!

I could look at our newborn ALL day and not get bored.
and
My getting ready for the day includes brushing my teeth. I'm lucky if I fit in a shower. (Maybe that's just with the more kids you have!)

Um, I echo EVERYTHING you said. Amen, sistah. And yes, I have nearly clawed my husband in his sleep when I was ready to go berserk from lack of rest. hehe (Hey, he's still alive, isn't he?)
