The year in review... A lot of this is related to little miss ruby.
2011
January: found out we were pregnant and decided not to tell anyone.
February: morning sickness. first doctors appointment - can't make out anything they showed us on the ultrasound but excited nonetheless.
March: morning sickness... I think I may die. byron takes a trip to Boston
April: morning sickness. finally shared the exciting pregnancy news. byron was offered a job with the Larry Miller Group of companies - working primarily with the bees and the jazz. byron graduates UVU.
May: morning sickness. half-way mark. find out the baby is a girl. start casually looking for houses.
June: Byron is never home due to the demanding job so I'm left to fend for myself. spend loads of time directly in front of the ac unit. get more serious about looking for a house. realize we need to move closer to slc.
July: spend many nights together at the spring mobile baseball park (triple A all star game). forget our anniversary but have an awesome celebration anyway. get frustrated with our house price range and begin looking into duplexes.
August: pregnancy scare. bed rest. find a duplex. more late nights for Byron.
September: end bed rest and have a baby two days later. buy a duplex - sign papers while still in the hospital with ruby... I was a bit drugged. critical jaundice scare... worst one our doc & nurses had dealt with in a long time. move in with byron's parents for a week.
October: move into our duplex. get that 'I've been hit by a bus feeling".
November: Byron called as ward clerk. small thanksgiving celebration with Putnam's. ruby starts sleeping through the night.
December: go back to work = ruby stops sleeping through the night. Ruby baby blessing. try figuring out how to balance being a working mom - very unsuccessful. celebrate christmas in Idaho & new years at home as a family.
Whew, what a year! Now I need to work on those resolutions...

I like how you breaked it down into each month - what a busy yet very exciting year you have had! I can't wait to see what 2012 brings!
i liked reading this. even though i've read your blog the whole year. still so fun. you guys are so cute. i didn't know byron's job was so crazy..sorry you spent so much time alone. michael was gone a lot when i was pregnant, and it was hard. so glad you got your own place! that is so fun. we went to my grandparents' teh other day and i thought about stopping by to say hi and see ruby, but i decided that was crazy and stalkerish. ha.
Crazy year! I need to get my butt in gear and do my year in review post before it's too late.
